About the Chamber

About the Chamber

The National Minority AI Chamber of Commerce exists so minority-owned businesses are not watching the AI economy from the sidelines. We give owners honest assessments, funding and credit readiness guidance, and a network of peers moving in the same direction. This is a chamber built for the owners doing the work, measured by the results they see.

Our story

Why a chamber, why minority owners, and why now.

Minority owners build real businesses every day. Shops, services, trades, restaurants, firms. They sign leases, make payroll, cover insurance, and answer to customers by name. These businesses carry neighborhoods and families, and most of them run on the owner's own labor and judgment.

At the same time, the AI economy is taking shape around them. Big companies are hiring AI teams, automating their follow-up, and capturing customers faster. The technology conversation, though, rarely reaches the corner shop. When it does, it arrives as hype: a vendor selling a tool the business does not need, or a guru promising transformation with no understanding of what the owner actually does all day.

The National Minority AI Chamber of Commerce exists to close that gap. Not with slogans, and not with magic software. With honest assessments that say where a business stands, plain-language education an owner can use on Monday morning, and a network of peers moving in the same direction. Minority owners are not waiting for permission to lead the AI economy. We built the room where they do it.

The problem we solve

The AI gap for minority businesses, stated plainly.

Bigger firms have AI teams. They have staff studying which tools save time, which processes to automate, and where the next dollar of revenue comes from. Small minority-owned businesses get two options instead: sold hype or nothing.

  • Sold hype looks like a vendor pitching an expensive system before ever asking how the business runs, or a course promising AI riches with no tie to real operations.
  • Nothing looks like an owner who knows AI matters but has no trusted place to ask what to actually do, so nothing changes and the gap widens.

Both cost the same thing: missed calls that never get answered, follow-up that never happens, marketing that runs on guesswork, and funding applications that get denied because nobody helped the owner prepare. The chamber solves this by sitting on the owner's side of the table. We assess first, sell nothing, and tell the truth about what will move the needle.

What the chamber does

Five pillars. Every one of them points at the same thing: stronger minority-owned businesses.

Pillar 01

Assess

Honest AI, revenue, and marketing assessments. We look at where your business actually stands, then tell you what to do next.

An assessment is a written record of reality: your AI opportunities ranked by impact, the revenue you are losing and why, how your marketing actually performs, and how fundable you look today. It is plain language, specific to your business, and it ends with a prioritized list of next steps. No fluff, no upsell disguised as advice. You cannot fix what nobody will name, so we name it.

Pillar 02

Prepare

Funding readiness and credit readiness guidance. We help you get your books, credit position, and paperwork in order before you apply.

Lenders ask specific questions, and most owners either answer them poorly or never get asked at all. Funding is a test you can study for: clean books, a clear credit picture, and paperwork that tells your story the way a lender wants to hear it. We walk you through what to fix and in what order, before you submit a single application. The goal is not just to apply for capital. It is to be ready when the right capital shows up.

Pillar 03

Connect

A directory and network of minority-owned businesses. Owners find each other here, and find partners, suppliers, and customers here.

Minority businesses get stronger when they buy from and hire each other. The member directory makes every founding and executive member findable by the public and by fellow members. Priority introductions put executive members in front of the right people: partners, vendors, lenders, and peers who have solved the problem you are staring at. This is a network, not an audience. The value is in the relationships members build with each other.

Pillar 04

Educate

Workshops and briefings on AI that matters for main street. Practical, plain language, and built for owners, not engineers.

Every workshop is built for the owner who runs the business and answers the phone. No jargon, no theory lectures, no forty-slide deck about the future of humanity. Each session covers one practical topic, shows how it applies to a real main street business, and ends with something you can use on Monday morning. Members also get recordings, so learning fits around the work instead of competing with it.

Pillar 05

Advocate

A collective voice for minority owners in the AI economy. One business is easy to ignore. A chamber is not.

Decisions about AI policy, AI investment, and who gets a seat at the table are being made right now. Individual owners are rarely in those rooms. A chamber is. Advocacy means carrying the interests of minority owners into conversations about where AI money and AI rules are going, and making sure main street has a voice in an economy that keeps forgetting it exists.

What we stand on

Three values guide every assessment, workshop, and introduction.

Ownership

Minority owners should own their place in the AI economy, not rent access to it.

Transparency

Honest assessments, clear pricing, no fine print. What we say is what we do.

Collective power

One business is easy to ignore. A network of owners moving together is not.
